As an accomplished surfer in his youth, Dane Peterson traveled the world. It was the unique people and places he encountered along the way that inevitably lead him to first pick up a camera and begin documenting his journey. Dane's photography focuses on the "honesty and beauty found in transitional moments," the "spaces in between." The interstitial, the downbeat, a kind of luxurious ennui, haunts his portraiture and documentary photography. His work can be found featured in campaigns and publications worldwide including Playboy, Jose Cuervo, Lane Bryant, Monster Children, and Conde Nast Traveler.
